Yes he has a minor case of CP from what I know. It just affects his speech somewhat, but I believe he can walk just fine now.

Yes. It was minor, and he apparently worked for years to learn to walk correctly... then he gets this role, and he said he actually had to re-learn how to walk like he had a more severe case of CP.

It's interesting to see this shift. Either it's a way to show Walt's evolution - as you pointed out - but also in this idea that his vanity is getting the better of him. It's not a perfect plan, but it's his plan, and he needs it that way, risks be damned! Which is really interesting to me. I love the idea of Walt getting sloppy because he needs to feel big.

The other option, as far as I can see it, is that this is another example of the show (the writing) being sloppy, of the show putting plot/idea ahead of character. Which has been the show's Achilles Heal. Hopefully, not.

Still, I thought this was a really nice episode. A lot of momentum and progression. A lot of character development. Paul was great - subtle and nuanced. Gunn was outstanding, not just in her big break down, but in her first scene with Walt moving back in. Odenkirk has always bugged me a bit on this show (which is odd because I tend to love him unconditionally), but I thought even he did a great job.

And any time you want to put on actors from FNL, I'm in! Keep 'em coming.

Excited to see where it heads and how it takes shape.
