Jackson - had one "solid" half season in 4. He is very average. Not the type to do anything special. You want him to be able to hold his own.

Poe - You used the "could" word.

Toribio - You used "Flashes" which means more times than not he was not that good.

Where's the PROVEN talent. I see Jackson as "serviceable" and the rest are all ????. That's plenty reason to be concerned.

Totally get where you are coming from. I just think the group was better than they showed last year. The scheme they played in is almost impossible to excel in. They have to catch the offensive guy and then try to fight him off and make a play. Very few people are going to do this game in and game out.

Now they get to go and attack. I think they all will "get better" as a result the attack mode approach and the flashes they showed will become much more consistent.

Obviously we will see in a couple of months.

Let me guess this is Tyson Jackson's Richard Seymour break out year finally

And Devito literally came with Sutton, so I dont know what anyone would expect anything more for a run stuffer with no pass rush moves that will come out on passing downs. That's what he did on the Jets that's what he will do here.

No neither are going to ask to be pass-rushers. That will come from Hali/Houston/DJ and other sources. But, they are going to stop the run and free up others to make impact plays.

Just because a DE is not a sack master does not mean they can't be quality contributors on the DL.

I'm expecting Powe to flourish under our new DC...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

At best we broke even trading Dorsey for DeVito.

When arguing Arizona as the more attractive option for Andy, there were people who thought Darnell Dockett was a good player too
