Pressey is gone, man. Was told before yesterday's game that he was playing professional basketball next year. From a guy who's extremely close to the program... and whose source talks to Pressey daily.

Clarkson has drawn rave reviews, as you mention. This team can be a NCAA team/bubble team next year if:

1) Clarkson is as good as advertised (talk is of him having a 10-year NBA career)
2) They get halfway decent interior play from 2 of Jonathan Williams III, Torren Jones, Keanu Post, Jankovic, Rosberg
3) Defensive effort is better (last year's team had severe things stacked against it defensively... this year's team just wasn't consistently trying).

Williams is a top 50 player nationally. Post is a top 5 JUCO. Clark is top 75 and I believe Jones is still top 150. It's more 4-star players in one class than Mike Anderson signed his entire tenure at Mizzou (Ratliffe, Phil Pressey).

Probably, really the best class Missouri has signed since Keyon Dooling/Clarence Gilbert.

The Tony Mitchell class was ranked higher, but Mitchell was most of that and never made it to campus.

Part of me wants Haith gone. Part of me says you at least have to give him two years with his players. I think the progress of next year's freshman will say a lot about his staying power. I still can't get past how he doesn't even know the basic fundamentals about when to use TOs....

I feel like Clarkson is the basketball version of Brian Coulter of football. At this point I am not sure if he can live up to the hype.

I am hoping Post and Jones can make a pressence along with Criswell. I have little hope for interior play from Rosburg and less for Jankovic, too much Euro in his game to be a banger. I am crossing my fingers and hoping JW3 delops and stays inside and does not fall in love with his outside shot.

If they don't paly better D we will go nowhere. it just has to be done and this year the effort and coaching D looked terrible.

As a guy who typically watched the BE before the game KU game every Big Monday I thought Orakhi was a tremendous get.

What happened with that?

Shut up, Beaker Boy, before we come burn your house down.

Wichita State and St. Louis advance.

Mizzou and Oklahoma State get crushed in the first round. Understandable for Mizzou, that's how they roll. But OSU? Oh, yeah, coached by a former Mizzou Player. I get it now.

I don't troll this thread like you do KU threads.

And I root for WSU also as I went to school then. And St. Louis is playing really good basketball.

We are the outliers. The majority of the fanbase still has "Faith in Haith".

You also have to remember how ****ing stupid most people are, though.

He was our best player this year. He was 40/46 in his last several games. Of course, we never really tried to run a high-low offense designed to get him the ball because Haith is a ****ing one who sucks the penis.

More high-low would have been a nice answer t this team's skill set. Utilizing Bowers in the high post and getting Oriakhi the ball on the block...

I think they ran that twice last night... once resulted in an Oriakhi dunk.
