Avatar origins

To go along with Flybone's username origin thread, there are certainly a handful of avatars around here that I've often asked about. Baby Lee's avy was the most confusing thing ever for the longest time until I finally asked him about it. Iconic is another one in which I've never gotten a response. Why does Mr. Flopnuts have Mike Holmgren in a chiefs shirt saying "ohhh yeah" as his avatar? All relevant questions that can be answered in this thread!

To start off, my avatar comes from the character "Bufkin", who was made famous in "The Wizard of Oz" starring Audrey Hepburn. He was then reprised as a fable character in the video game "The Wolf Among Us".

basically I like anything David Lynch - I've always been a fan of the non mainstream - It's just sort of what I dig - Lynch is easily my favorite. Henry Spencer is the main character in the blockbuster film "Eraserhead"

You were another one I was curious about! I'll have to add Eraserhead to my "must watch" list.

I'd recommend trying some of his current day things, such as Mulholland Drive and maybe Inland Empire - then go back and revisit Eraserhead.

I created it before I even knew what Photoshop was....and am damn proud of my efforts considering it was made in Paint.

I had Val Kilmer as Doc Holliday for years, but Lloyd Bridges seemed far more appropriate.

Mine is from this group of guys I hung around with in the 70's. They were crazy, they cut off my beautiful freak flag, kicked my ass, abused me and ended up making a man out of me.
