It's times like this when being a wrestling fan pays off. All of the Triple H monologues, all of the TNA, all of the hosses... this is what makes it worth it. The feeling of not knowing where things are going, and the hopes of being on the verge of a new era that will be fondly remembered years from now.

Someone on another board compared that to the Kennedy vs. Carlito abortion, and I'm inclined to agree. Downright awful, Estrada's hilarious attempts at baiting the crowd notwithstanding.

Hopefully Teddy's "new superstar initiative" portends the forthcoming debut of a certain WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION's buddy.

Batista was the right choice I think, storyline-wise, but jesus they have a job ahead of them, somehow building Punk as capable of giving him a competitive match. In two weeks.
