Homefield Advantage: Donkeys

Stat-wise, the Chiefs win. But the Donks have had two weeks to get healthy, watch tape, and game plan. Their defensive scheme will surely follow what Oakland did: stack 8 in the box to contain our running game and challenge Cassel to beat two CBs and 1 safety.

The unknown status of McCluster looms huge for this game. His return skills not only threaten a score every time, but also contribute immensely to great field position. The Chiefs haven’t run any reverses during his absence. McCluster lining up in the slot forces the defense to pull defenders out of the box, and takes pressure off Bowe and Moeaki.

And make no mistake… if the F7 fails to put consistent pressure on Orton (not just a few sacks, but getting in his grill every snap), he’s going to light up our secondary.

I loathe the stinkin’, cheatin’, XFL-uniform-wearing Donks. The Chiefs need to take the putrid stench of the melt-down in Oaktown, turn it into focused anger, and win this game in Pile High.

Outside of the RBs... Moeaki is the key. A strong TE will eat up that defense...

A big key will be if McDaniels severed head, wrapped in a hoodie, is delivered to the Bronco fans prior to the game thus preventing him from ever affecting the franchise again.
If they can pull this off Denver has a chance.

Should be a good game,but I hold my faith in the fact that McDraftBust will **** the Donks yet again.Are they close to signing him to a 20 year extension yet?

Yeah yeah yeah, and if we run for 400 yards we'll win. I hate the fact that if we can't run the ball for 200 yards then we will probably lose. All teams will stack 8 in the box against good running teams but with us they could stack all 11 in the box because we have no deep threat and no QB to really worry aboiut either.

Enh, there's just simply no way that KC loses this game in Denver... put it in three inch headlines, simply no effing way that Denver wins.

It depends on how Haley gets this team ready. Haley did his worst coaching job in getting this team prepared in our biggest game of the season last week. That's not what big time coaches do. Granted he's dealing with big time crap in Cassel, but we've proven we can win with him at the helm no matter what, so...

Denver's run defense is truly dreadful:

31st overall, 27th in YPC, DEAD LAST in rushing TDs allowed at a whopping 14.

If we can't win this game, Cassel should be fired.
