I understand what you are saying. But is he really another 49er backup? Dude was the 3rd rated QB in the league, and has really taken off since Harbaugh brought the WCO back to SF.

Is he perfect? Probably not. But could be a good match for Reid's WCO.

And even though Reid drafted McNabb a few years ago, he passed over several other highly sought after QB prospects that turned out to be busts.

Look. I am all for taking a QB with that #1 pick... if there is one that is worth it. But if the QB's are all Tim Couch's, Smith's, Culpepper's, and McNown's... I'd just as soon pass. If he finds a McNabb... let's roll!

LOLOLOL Harbaugh couldn't wait to bench Alex Smith. Not good enough for Harbaugh so you want Alex Smith to be our guy? Alex Smith is not going to take a team to the Super Bowl. Super Bowl being the goal and all.
