Scott Pioli's PFF rating

If you could give Scott Pioli a PFF rating, how would you go about it?

Since the NFL is a "what have you done for me lately" league, let's tally up the latest ratings of all the players he's drafted, or acquired in free agency.

If the player is no longer a Chief, or no longer in the NFL, we'll use their last known rating. Players with negligible snaps are excluded (Colin Brown, Quinten Lawrence, Jalil Brown, Cyrus Gray, etc).

Pioli Drafts

**** Moeaki. He passed up three stud TEs for that broke ass piece of shit. I don't forgive him for that. And Stephenson was a wasted pick.

And how do you forgive him for Breaston? He was a good pickup that got stuck on the bench so that his 2nd round midget could shine.

I'm not forgiving Pioli. Forgiving the players for their PFF scores as I don't think they are truly indicative of either their true value (Breaston, Routt) or potential (Poe, Stephenson, Allen, Berry, Moeaki).

I can't blame the players for what Pioli does/selected. Moeaki during his rookie season seemed like a promising player. He clearly has struggled. However, that doesn't mean that I don't wish we had several other players instead of him.

Stephenson could develop into an OK LT. I don't mind the actual player. I do mind where he was selected relative to who was still available.

What I meant by "forgiving" Breaston is that I don't think Breaston's PFF rating is necessarily productive of the player he is. That applies to those I listed, although in the case of the younger guys, it is more aimed towards potential.

I still think that Stephenson pick is because Pioli is planning on gutting all of the old regime's players off of this roster. Albert will have the same "contract issues" that Bowe does.

Baldwin and McCluster were to replace Bowe.
Stephenson was to replace Albert.
Routt was to replace Carr.

It's indicative of the player he is under Scott Pioli.

Powe needs more time. He's a legit NT.

And the best thing Pioli can do in the 1st round moving forward is go QB or trade down...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).
