I bought the 3G "First Edition" model so I get it a week early, + a game, case and memory card for it.

I could live with 5 bucks a month but $15 for 250 mb for a device that can do very little online is not worth it.

Was this the first preorder available or some other limited release promotion? Also, how much did it set you back? Can you pick the game?

Nothing of value. Announced a new PS compatible phone. Announced that Netflix and Music Unlimited will be available on the Vita day 1.

CES hasn't been known for groundbreaking gaming announcements.

I picked up Metal Gear Solid 4 today. I haven't touched this series since MGS2. Looking forward to some sweet stealth action and hopefully some smart enemy AI.
Aside from the number of cutscenes, which I have no problem with, what were the complaints on this game?

Absolutely ZERO complaints with this game and I hated the the previous MGS games. You will love it.

That's what I like to hear. $19 well spent.

I love how this game utilizes the bluetooth headset.. Very cool having codecs and other com jazz come through my headset.

Haha. I didn't realize that. Never really used a headset for much, though.
