Plus, it has Hannibal Lecter as Odin!
Watched Thor last night. It was alright. I'm thinking I would have enjoyed it more if I had not seen Avengers yet. Avengers is just so much better, it acts as a "negative" on my opinion of Thor. Helped give me some background though.

I don't know what happened in between Thor and The Avengers, but Tom Hiddleston really grew as an actor. Much, much better performance in The Avengers

I also watched Thor after having seen Avengers.
I thought it was a decent film. Definitely gave Avengers some perspective.

I saw them all as they were released. I have really enjoyed the story spread across several movies.

Avengers is already the No. 5 top grossing domestic film of all time.

Star Wars IV is at no 4 with only a $3 million lead.

It could finish no 2 or 3...

Finally saw the after-credits scenes after seeing Avengers for the 2nd time.
Is Thanos projected out for Iron Man 2 or A2?

Iron Man 2 already came out. Sorry to bust your bubble.

Just giving you shit by the way. I'm sure you meant IM3. And I can't imagine they'd wasted a character like Thanos on IM3. If anything it will be A2, but my opinion is that it's too early, if they plan to do an A3 as well. Thanos is kind of the end all, be all from what I've read.

IM3 is apparently all about nanotech (extremis). Although I'm sure there will be some kind of post-credit bump into A2.

Yep, that is what I have heard.

My buddy is on set in North Carolina right now.. I've been trying to get info from him... nothing so far... and they leave NC soon and he won't be going with them so I may not be able to get much useful info out of him.

I think there will be allusions to Thanos in the next couple of movies, and then he'll make his Big Bad Entrance in A2. He might or might not continue into A3 as well.

Still holding out for Ultron.

Finally went and re-watched it today. Just as great as the first time.

I ****ing love Downey Jr as Tony Stark/Iron Man. I seriously had no interest in the character before he was cast. Bravo, Marvel.

EDIT: The whole cast is ****ing great. I like Ruffalo's Banner. He seemed really timid and jittery all the time. I'd imagine that's how Bruce Banner would really act, knowing what he's holding back all the time. Hemsworth as Thor is tits. Dude looks the part like no other. And I haven't had a single issue blocking views of Chris Evans as Human Torch. He's done a good job of getting serious for Cap.

That's what I meant.

I've heard the same things about him. That he's basically Captain Badass. My buddy also says that Iron Man has a wider stable of villains they could choose from to save Thanos for A2.
