Buy low trade targets?

So other than a perpetually injured Reggie Bush, my RB corp is very mediocre. Gio Bernand, Wilson, Powell, and Quizz. I have Vick and TY as trade bait.

Who should I target? S-Jax seems like a good injury stash, and Ridley's only scored 6 points in my league thus far. Also, scoring includes .5 PPR.

Bowe and CJ2K...now there is a clash of "the inconsistents" if I've ever seen it.

Due to them both being boom or bust at times, it's kind of a tough call...but I'd go With CJ2K....he doesn't have to rely on someone else (with an exception of HC/OC) in terms of his production...which Bowe obviously has to rely on himself and Smith...which I wouldn't be comfortable with. JMO. Plus, I think it's just a matter of time before Chris Johnson blows up...

I think David Wilson may be a good "buy low" guy right now...I mean, how long does Coughlin punish his RB's for fumbles. I think he'll be fine and possibly consistent before long.

Lamar Miller seems to be getting the bulk over Daniel Thomas...which is great. I couldn't figure out why the hell that "competition" took place to begin with.

I would pick up Willis Mcgahee if possible. He hasn't done shit yet, and many of his owners have already soured on him already...but they are impatient and dumb. This guy is said to be the undisputed #1 RB on the Browns team when he is 100% comfortable with the playbook. Trent Richardson has proven that the Browns are at the least, capable of producing fantasy points with their RB if they have a decent dude plugged in there. Mcgahee may not be T-Rich, but he is a very capable RB...I loved having him on my fantasy team off and on over the past few years. He's always been pretty reliable when not banged up. I think he'll start producing in week 6...I don't expect much from him this Thursday quite yet, but I think he will have a lot of potential in the weeks following.

Michael Floyd is another one I can see making some waves. Given the fact that Fitz seems to receive his share of being double-teamed along with stupid little injuries that seem to hinder him at an annoying rate, I think this will result in more opportunities with Floyd in due time and he will eventually consistently produce in similar fashion that he did this weekend. He has a non-Skelton/Kolb QB throwing to him, which is huge...those ****s couldn't move the ball last year. I am assuming that the Cardinals have high hopes and expectations for the guy...they wouldn't have spent a first round pick on him last year if they didn't. It's just a matter of time before he produces. Hell, he is on the waiver wire in one of my leagues right now...I was the one who dropped him last week so I could create space to pick up a backup QB and TE. He has been available since last week and noone has noticed or felt compelled to pick him up. I dropped my backup QB and am attempting to add him to my team again. Won't find out until Wednesday. Hoping he slides between the cracks in my league because I think he has "buy low" potential.

I'm counting on Amendola to come back swingin' soon. Sounds like he is almost recovered from his injury. I hate the fact that he is so injury prone, but when healthy, I think Brady and him will have good chemistry. If an owner has soured on him, I'd see how little they'd take for him in a trade.

Phillip Rivers is another one.

I picked him up as a FA in week two. He has done really well this year. I started him this week due to Rodgers having a Bye week and he came through. With the injury of Mcfadden, I desperately need an RB right now. Therefore I went through all the teams in my league to evaluate who has the worst QB situation. There is a team who has Sam Bradford as their starter and no backup. That said, I proposed Rivers and T.Y. Hilton for Ray Rice and Deangelo Williams. I'm thinking he'll take it.

That's huge. Reece is a beast, but so underused.

I'm glad I picked up Jennings in one of my leagues.

I think Gio Bernard starts getting more touches in the 2nd half, by the way.

I'd do it. CJ0K blows.

Quote:
While some might be encouraged by Johnson's decent yardage totals, there should be concern about how many carries it took to obtain that yardage. Specifically, Johnson had exactly 25 carries in both Weeks 1 and 2. That's a mark he achieved only once in each of the past two seasons. Considering that Johnson played in many contests where his normal starting quarterback was sidelined due to injury during those seasons, expecting an increase due to Jake Locker's hip injury is not advisable.

If Johnson's downside ended there, he'd still maintain decent value. It doesn't. Johnson isn't nearly as explosive as he was in the early part of his career. As most remember, Johnson's value has been driven significantly by his ability to break long runs frequently. In 2008 and 2009, Johnson broke a big-play rush (10 yards or more) once every 7.2 carries. That number plummeted to one every 9.3 carries for the 2010 to 2012 seasons. It has plunged further to just once every 14 carries this year. This season's rate is 24 percent worse than the combined rate for all other running backs with at least 50 carries this year. Any way you look at it, he's just not explosive anymore.

Finally, Johnson has zero touchdowns this season despite the fact that he has had 17 of the 24 red zone rushes the Tennessee Titans have attempted this season. Those 17 rush attempts represent the largest number of red zone chances given to any running back this season. Furthermore, every other running back with double-digit opportunities in the red zone has at least one touchdown.

To recap: Johnson is receiving more carries than he has usually been given. He is significantly less explosive than his reputation suggests, and he is a colossal flop in the red zone. If you own Johnson, now is the time to pawn him off to another owner. If you don't, avoid being the fish that gets hooked on this bait.
