49ers have completed a trade with the Chiefs for Alex Smith, tho can't be official til March 12. Chiefs really made a commitment to Smith

We wont be winning in the playoffs, we wont be hoisting an AFC championship or superbowl trophy.. We wont be playing in either game until Smith is gone.


So all we can do is sit back and wait... Its gonna be a long season.

IIRC, we're 2-1 in games that Alex doesn't start and realistically that should be 3-0 if it weren't for a huge official **** up in San Diego in 2013.

We've won games with Nick Foles and Chase ****ing Daniel in much the same way we win games with Alex.

3-1 if you count Foles raping the Colts...winning a game the way Alex wouldn't have won it...

Dude is/was a huge fraud that got dragged along by the rest of the team, and squandered two top 5 defenses.

And we will have even more reasons to wish him nothing but CTE and flesh-eating disease in retirement after this season...5 seasons wasted on a turd.

When Nick Foles got into the Colts game after Alex Smith first non~concussion he was doing a great job and throwing down field. I think Andy or somebody was afraid he would show up Alex Smith so they put Alex back in so then he suffered another non~concussion. Nick looked phenomenally better than Alex during that game. He wasn't great against the Jags but if he was then we would have stuck with Nick Foles for some more games while Alex Smith "recovered from non~concussion symptoms"

Yeah, it'll happen when they punt but it will be even worse when Alex does what he does 2 or 3 times every game and bail on the pocket and run himself into a sack.
