Of course we do, but it doesn't stop us from making Cell phone commercials with paul revere making a cell phone call that the british are coming, and it shouldn't stop every American from taking pride in what, wasn't even a country yet from accomplishing. I take pride in that. That took a shit ton of guts to do what they did.

why yes, yes it was, it was from the Patriot staring Mel Gipson, Heath Ledger, and one of my favorite BRITISH actors, Jason Isaacs.

Well played sir, well played.

And to who I think it was Donger. Of course I didn't mean actual Pilgrims, but a lot of the small battles that led to victories in the BIGGER battles, were won by farmers, also known as minute men. Who were essentially Pilgrims in the sense of the word. They definitely weren't trained soldiers.....

I didn't think that you were actually referring to the original Pilgrims. You just seemed to be giving the American army complete credit credit for the British giving up.

If so, that's massively historically inaccurate.

1. Helicopters only work when piloted by Americans.

2. America is the third-largest country in the world by population, but the largest by total weight.

3. A little-known clause in the U.S. Constitution guarantees all Americans 15-minute snuff breaks while harvesting.

8. Due to a mixup in paperwork in 1959, the state of Alaska was mistakenly labeled Hawaii, and the state of Hawaii was mistakenly labeled Alaska.

9. Only four U.S. presidents have ever eaten at Chick-Fil-A (Clinton, W. Bush, HW Bush, and Chester A. Arthur)

In 1945, that would have been a competition between Alamogordo and Hot Springs. The city was renamed Truth or Consequences in 1950.
