Keep in mind that you're a novice lifter for a longer period of time than you think you are. Novice lifting can last anywhere from a few months to a year or two, depending on how hard you hit the weights and where you started.

Once you've reached the point where you don't make regular progress on the SS program, you are ready to move on to the intermediate stage, which can last you for a good number of years. Find it HERE:

If you're a very advanced lifter (many, many years of CONSISTENT weight training), then there are lot of programs out there, and which one you pick is simply a matter of preference. If you're really that advanced, you should know what works for you and what doesn't by this point.

I can't see stopping. I love it too much. I know I won't always see the results I'm getting right now, but I won't always need to. Who knows? Once I get to 25% body fat, maybe I'll want to go for 20%. Or I may just have a whole new goal not even related to weight loss.

I'm also a cheese hound.

I found out a couple of years back that I'm allergic to whey though so that eliminates a lot of dairy for me and makes my post workout shakes a little trickier.

I was out of town all week for work so I was eating conference/hotel food. The wife asked what I wanted for dinner and my answer was "something with cheese".

So it's taco casserole for me.
1.5 lbs of GRASS FED ground beef
1 can of black beans (**** you paleo)
1 can of pinto beans
1 can of diced tomatoes with chipolte peppers
1 small can of green diced chilis
Pouch of taco seasoning
A metric shit ton of cheese
Pile-guac

I think I could be a vegetarian pretty darned easy - As it is right now - I basically eat chicken 75% of the time and beef about 20% of the time - the other 5% is fish/other (dog milk, meth, etc, etc..)

I've had people that claim to know how to make tofu taste good. I've tried it from them. I have never once liked it.

that Trader Joe's black bean and tofu chili is actually pretty good - aside from from that, I've barely tried tofu - but that Veg chili (canned) TJ's carries is pretty legit.

it's not - it's got a decent flavor and may be a break on the ol' colon regarding beef intake, I'm a twice a week beef eater, generally - This is just a nice thing to eat once or twice per month, plus they have jalapenos inside the can - so that never hurts.

My wife is a vegetarian, and we rarely eat tofu. I agree that it's just not that good, and it's pretty unnecessary for most dishes. Tempeh is slightly better and seitan can be delicious.

A couple of dishes I actually like tofu in though: tofu pad thai (they fry it, and it turns it into little square morsels that actually have a crunchy exteior). Tofu tom ka soup as well. Just large chunks of steamed tofu floating in the soup. For some reason (I guess because the tofu soaks up the soup), it's delicious.

I, too, find it hilarious that our vegan buddy warns against alcohol's estrogenic effects but promotes soy.

tempeh is fermented soy beans and looks like vacuum packed cockroaches.

And, to be honest, I don't eat tofu that much. I think that there are many more protein alternatives available.

Eating vegan well requires a bit more creativity, but once you get the hang of it, it's easy and the taste, variety and quality of your food will be excellent. Case in point, I made some mother ****ing awesome eggplant sammiches today for lunch. Marinated the peeled and sliced eggplant in white wine, white balsamic vinegar, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, Italian spices and then dredged them in seasoned (salt, pepper, onion powder, a little paprika) flour, into a soy milk & green Tabasco wash, then coated in Panko. Fried them in olive oil over medium heat.

Dressed some ciabatta rolls with a white bean and garlic hummus, topped the eggplant with sautéed red peppers and onions, put on a slice of vegan mozzarella cheese, melted the cheese in the oven, then added sliced tomatoes and spring mix.

Easy as pie, and they were freaking terrific.

You should have PM'd me when you decided to hit the vegan cleanse. I would have happily given you some tips and pointers to help guide you on the path towards enlightenment and ascension.
I will make you a deal. If you send me a grocery list of vegan products and a list of your favorite vegan meals and how I can make them, then I will be happy to try it out.

I'm probably doing this shit wrong. I can admit that.
