I'm concerned....VERY concerned...

It's one thing to have McCleon on the field, but Brian Washington is brutal. He got beat over and over again. If the Jets could have executed, Washington may have singlehandedly put them back into the game.

I thought McCleon looked the worst of all our CB's.

I agree with mylon. McPassOn gave up a lot more than Washington throughout the game.

Be quiet, don't talk anything negative, the newbies and kiddies will look down upon you .

I too fear the pass D, I thought we gave up too much and the Jets found too many holes. Thankful they dropped alot of passes and fumbled the ball alot.

Otherwise, it would have been a closer game.

I'm concerned, too. But not VERY concerned. If Surtain's back Sunday night (fingers crossed) it's a moot point. If not, well, we'll see what happens.

And we've now survived week 1 of Warfield's enforced haitus. 1 down, just 3 to go. Win one of the next three games, and we're golden.

Keep in mind one thing.

The Raiders offensive line is MUCH worse than New York's.

And as bad as Pennington was, Collins is much more easily rattled.

And Lamont Jordan is no Curtis Martin. We stop Oakland's run game and our O shows up, we win.

Not to mention the Jets have a far better defense than Oakland.

No shit.

I'm still a little worried about our passing game. It was good today for an early-season outing, but we will need a little more next week to keep pace with Oakland.

Hopefully they get the kinks worked out. If Roaf can't go, we could be in trouble.

Don't underestimate the challenges of playing them in prime time on the road. They'll be up for it.

We will need Surtain next week against Moss. If he isn't able to go, we had better blitz a lot and get Collins really rattled.

Damn right.

That Raider o-line cant hold a candle to the Jets line. The Raiders are the most undisciplined team in the league. They will hit some big plays, but a good number of them will be called back due to the penalties they incur while getting them.

Collins isnt nearly as mobile as Chad Pennington, and he was suffering from a bad case of tunnel vision in their game against the Pats, just chucking the ball up to Moss once the running game was taken away.

Moss is going to make his plays, but I think that his arrival there could actually make Kerry Collins a worse QB, seeing as how he seems to think that Moss can catch anything, no matter how many guys he has around him. He wasnt looking to Porter, or Whitted all that much, and the passes that were going to Moss with 2 and 3 men on him were just bad decisions.

The raider line wont be able to protect him all day long, and with Gun's love of the Blitz, Collins wont have the time to just sit back and throw downfield.

The Chiefs D stopped Curtis Martin behind the Jets line. After seeing that, Im extremely confident that they can handle his former backup running behind an inferior offensive line.

Chiefs will score on that horrible D, Turner will get one dimensional, and the game will become Kerry Collins' worst nightmare.

Chiefs roll over the Raiders, and then have to prepare for the challenge of playing in primetime at Incestco.
