How can BC get beat up this bad already?

Two practice games and he's getting burned at the stake? He has 6 starts and yes they were all loses but it's common knowledge that the whole offense was awful. He was not great last night but he's out of the game before he gets a chance to bounce back.

You gotta give a young QB at least a season for that matter most of them get 3 before they are dubbed to be terrible. BC has had only 6 actual starts.

Cut the kid a break.

So you're saying you want him to throw the ball to a well-covered receiver, especially at the end zone, instead of throwing the ball away out of the endzone?

Wow.

Not as stupid as Alabama grads. And not as impatient as a wide receiver waiting for a football that never arrives because the quarterback is too busy playing namby pamby goose goose with a defensive tackle in the backfield.

Top 10 reasons why Brodie won't make it in the NFL...

10 He hasn't won a game in the NFL
9 He got hurt a couple of times in college
8 He wasn't a first round pick
7 He occasionally misses a WR
6 He comes from a college that has only had 2 other QBs make the NFL
5 He can't carry 2 DEs and 2 DTs on his back at the same time and still make a throw
4 He has been known to throw an INT
3 He's too skinny
2 He throws too hard

and #1....

I played the Chiefs in Madden with him as my starting QB and lost (never mind that I suck at Madden).

Glad to see you've seen the light, Mr. PastorMikH.

We've wasted enough snaps on this clod hopper and it's time to give Thigpen or somebody some playing time. Isn't there somebody from USC or somewhere we can draft next year?

I compare this season to the first season that Trent Green came here. Nearly every Chiefs fan threw him under the bus, and mocked every move he made. Now, he is arguably one of the best QB's to play in Red and Gold of all time.

It's time to be patient, and non-judgemental.
Trent Green is "arguably one of the best QB's to play in Red and Gold?"

How many arguments are there against him being "one of the best?"

The Chiefs have had, what, like one and a half good QBs besides Green.

You damn him with faint praise.

We could really use Casey Printers in there. Casey has never lost a regular season game in the NFL.

Well, if you want to watch pansy football, that's up to you, Mr. Coach. Quarterbacks get paid to throw the ball "to" the receiver. Not over their heads or at their feet or out of bounds like a girl just so they can avoid a mild concussion or a broken rib or two. Last time I checked, that's why they invented morphine.

At least he overthrows instead of underthrowing. Maybe we need to work with our receivers to run faster.

Brodie will be heckled and quite possibly booed this season. This O-Line is at least a couple drafts away to being where we're accustomed to seeing. As fans, we're spoiled ass rotten in watching a dominant line destroy opposing defenses week after week. Hopefully another draft or two, combined with a couple FA acquisitions will bring back the dominant line we're used to watching. A dominant offense and defense starts in the trenches. If the line isn't solid, everybody around them are directly affected

In the meantime, we have a young QB, with new WR's, a new offensive scheme, and a rebuilding Line. Brodie will be average at best this year, but likely in the bottom 25% stat wise. I'm patient enough to watch and wait to see him develope as he gains chemistry with his WR's and the line gells in front of him.

Patience is one thing, Mr. Chiefaholic, but bad judgement is something else. We could have had Favre or Pennington. Somebody who knows how to play real football instead of some kid who throws incomplete passes and dodges defensive ends like he's afraid of a little broken leg or shoulder separation. A real leader instead of a guy who waits for receivers to "get open". Favre never did that.

I could also make the arguement that Trent Green was arguably one of the best QB in the NFL when he was in his hay-day. Whatever arguement you want to make is fine. THE POINT...was that KC fans were ready to give up on Green right away.

Donkey fans...
