I was answering his question bruh. He was asking if the previous poster was referring to Fisher. He was referring to Fasano. Thinks his blocking suffered from injury, I said I first noticed his inconsistent blocking in preseason.

I think that is a good receiving core-that would cause major matchup problems with a 4 receiver set with Bowe as TE
Hemmingway basically ran the same 40 as Bowe did at the combine I believe.

Dexter should probably walk, we have to trim fat somewhere, and he continues little outside of what he adds on special teams.

Jenkins should be our WR screen guy, dude is fast. Just get to get him up to speed on the pro game.

Bowe ran the combine 7 YEARS ago, and he has gotten much heavier and much slower over the last few years.

I think Dexter did a GREAT job this year on ST and he caught more passes than most including Avery. Dex fails when Reid runs those stupid WR screens to him or pitch out and he loses yards from the call. It's a waste.

Agree on Jenkins-his upside is 5x better than slow ass and lazy Jon Baldwin.

Sanders Commings - DB - Chiefs
Sanders Commings is expected to be the Chiefs starting free safety.
The Chiefs are showing no interest in re-signing last year's starter, Kendrick Lewis. They've also been quiet on the free agent market when it comes to safeties. The logical move is to hand the job to Commings, a second-year player whose rookie campaign was marred by a broken collarbone. His coverage skills will be as asset.

It would be REALLY nice to have Bradley McDougald still on the team right about now. He could have been pretty valuable depth for us with a full season on the practice squad and an entire offseason program.

This Malcolm Bronson guy who played barely any time in training camp and preseason and still made it to the practice squad better have some real skills.

A new starter, a projected improvement at the position that costs the Chiefs not a single additional dime against the cap?

I tell you what, it's almost like this team knows what it's doing sometimes.

That's ****ing great. IF it works out.

The coaches have a good idea of what Commings can do, but there's still a huge gap of uncertainty. And it's not just in matters of if he can play or not. It's pretty concerning that after recovering from his first injury, he busted something else to end the year.

If he's the answer to the starting FS position in 2014, we sure as **** could have used him in the Colts game.

We still have no true free safeties on the team.

Safeties currently on the team:

Eric Berry (starting SS)
Husain Abdullah (backed up Lewis as FS in 2013, has traditionally played SS)
Sanders Commings (Moeaki'd his rookie season, only played in 2 games, was a tweener CB/S in college)
Malcolm Bronson (no clue what the hell he does)
Jerron McMillian (SS with the Packers who was cut, had a lot of promise as a draft pick)

Yeeeeaaaahhh... I'd say it's a fair bet that we still need a free agent of some sort. That's a lot of inexperience. You might see that on a true rebuilding team like Herm's Chiefs. But not on a team trying to supposedly take out the Donks for the division

I like mcdougald. The problem is the chiefs seem to have no shortage of strong safeties and no frees. Especially given how much responsibility they have in one deep coverage.

Don't play that card. More cards say they don't... Hey, where's Sanders anyway? Schwartz? Dex? Bowe gets paid how much? We traded what for Smith when we were going to build through the draft year # 2? Now exactly who is going to protect our QB that cost TWO #2's?

A FS with 4.3 will be a nice change of pace.. Hope he stays healthy. I'm not comfortable going into the season with him as starter tho

I just don't see how you can count on a guy that hasn't played FS much at all. Hasn't been able to stay healthy enough to play more than few downs at an NFL level to be your starter.
