Though I do think that in defining season 4 as the "cool, action moment" season (as you seemed to be doing), you are missing the bigger picture. Season 4 was a hell of a lot more than that.

You didn't respond to it because you had already condescendingly told me that I wasn't the kind of person who was worthy of a debate with you. My posts since then were an attempt to drive you out. Mission accomplished on my end.
Yes, because directly accusing me of missing a bigger picture drove me out. I'm not here right now, typing this. Nope.

I agree with that. If you would read this thread, you'd see that I was defending season 4 each and every week from the mouthbreathers who complained about it, especially during the season's first half. I was characterizing as such because I underestimated you and was absolutely being condescending (though knowing that I underestimated you makes my disappointment even greater).

It did. You ended up replying to my post in the end, as I figured you might.

There is no doubt that you have great knowledge, but if you can't respect other people's opinions and pigeonhole people's positions before you even know what they are, good debate can never be had.

Anyway, I didn't like "Fly." And it's not because I didn't understand what they were doing, it's because I thought it wasn't necessary at all to the show. I could have done without it.

And nothing against season 3 (which was, of course, great on the whole), but I loved season 4. And it wasn't because I liked the "cool, action moments." It's because of the interaction between and development of characters like Gus, Walt, Jesse, Mike, and Hector. Not to mention the superb acting from those five (Cranston, IMO, did his best work in this season as he transitioned into being increasingly pathetic, paranoid, vindictive, and eventually villainous).

That would be throwing away the significant Hank/Walt story line which could still yet prove to be interesting. I'm glad they didn't.

I'm hoping Hank figures things out and they have some sort of show down.

I think Jesse vs. Walt is important, but they kept showing us how important Walt's family is to him over the first few seasons. I don't think that it should end any other way than a Family Showdown.

You could argue Jesse has become just as important to Walt as any family member.

That's very true.

Just my personal preference if it came down to Walt vs. Hank just because it would be a much larger shitstorm.

I'm into this show now thanks to netflix. But I just finished season 2 and I have to say,

possible spoiler - not really, but I don't know how to do that spoiler thing anyways.

But how could one air traffic controller cause 2 planes to crash into each other? I mean really, he says the wrong thing and BAM they just crash right into each other? I would think that one out of the 4 pilots involved would notice another plane coming and do something and with all the security and stuff, they wouldn't account for any sort of human error? give me a break. Plus his wife is a freaking ****.
