Any news on Ambrose or Washington?

I was wondering if any of the locals heard anything about the two newest corners. Are there any reports on how they are playing?

The only thing that's been said, is that they both have "alot of work to do".

I think Vermiel says that line 50 times a day. With all these corners the Chiefs have in camp who are going to be the odd guys out? I know they get to carry an extra one for the first 4 games but still this is a ton. Maybe Hodge is going to the practice squad.

They are both behind McLeon and Sapp for now. Either for purely motivational purposes, or they really aren't worth a roster spot. Only time will tell...

If Sapp or McCleon can do the job...why use any roster space for these over-the-hill guys?

As of yesterday, they're behind Surtain, Warfield (when he comes back), McCleon, and Sapp on the depth chart, according to Holthus.

I guess in a week we get to see how they do against Minnesota's third string. If they can't shut down those guys they don't have a chance.

How is Wesley doing at free-safety? I haven't heard any reports on him either. All the talk has been on Mitchell and Knight.
