That match was so much better than the 'Mania main event is going to be.

I'm looking forward to a completely unhinged Punk calling out Undertaker in a moment of total hubris next week. But, yeah, I do worry about how they can bring him back into the main event picture after he loses to 'Taker. It'll be Punk's 4th straight major loss.

I can't forsee Punk going back to second tier. He will probably win it at Wrestlemania next year

Well, really, he's always been a second tier guy, even when he had the title. Cena's title reign starting at mania is probably going to be months of wins like tonight. Punk's was smoke and mirrors, and he wasn't even the main event in half the PPVs (or the main event for many of the Monday night Raws). Cena was the star of the show the whole time. Although it's better now than it has been thanks to Punk's strong work over the last few months. But he's an afterthought now. He'll be in what's at best the #3 match on the card, assuming it's Undertaker (and I don't know how it isn't after all the allusions he made tonight...). The whole show is built around Cena and Rock, with HHH and Lesnar getting whatever focus is left over.

I do thought it was great how much they let Punk have in this match tonight. It does help him continue to look like a star. But, unfortunately, in the end he's just a loser.

I know they're making the right move in terms of making money and selling PPV buys, but Rock/Cena is just so ****ing boring. It was boring last year, and it's going to be worse this year.

Facing Undertaker though is a great draw and I think it will draw huge interest. Also I just think after Wrestlemania and Rock, HHH, Jericho, and Undertaker disappear the WWE doesn't have that many top level superstars outside of Cena, Punk and Sheamus. I guess that depends though on how long Brock sticks around as well.

The third guy was Seth Rollins. When Seth first started out in ROH, he was absolutely awful on the mic. He is 5,000% better on the mic now than he was in the mid-2000's.

Like, I said - I don't follow this stuff much any more.

I flipped over during halftime of the KU game.

My opinion was the third guy sounded the best on the mic last night.

While Hunter is a bit old I did like the fact his segment ended with Lesnar in an old school crimson mask, had a couple chair shots and it appeared that Hunter pissed himself before the match.

I will say that when his music hits it is still pretty cool. That is great intro music.

After they put this group together I actually went out to YouTube to see more about each of them in their prior wrestling groups. I actually like Ambrose from a mic guy, although his wrestling skills could use some honing. Rollins, like you said, was pretty poor in his early years, but seem to get much better. I wondered why he wasn't the voice of this group until I saw Ambrose work the mic.

As for Reigns he is just the Wade Barret of the group...big, muscular and horrible on the mic. But I am sure being The Rock's cousin didn't hurt him when it came being hired.

From a casual watcher that used to be pretty avid, Ambrose is brilliant. Reminds me a lot of Larry Zabyszko.

Also, Cena vs Punk was an excellent match in my view. One of the best I've seen in a while, but it was obvious build up. And while I don't loathe Cena like a lot of you do, I was still pissed he got a clean pin after a match that good. Doesn't bode well for Punk who has become my favorite of all.

The comparison of Ambrose to Zbyszko is pretty much spot on....Ambrose on the mic reminds me alot of RoadDog, great on the mic and average in the ring.

I thought the Cena vs. Punk match was good until the really poor version of the hurricarana that he tried....

I don't think Cena will beat him.

The problem is that while Punk is never going to beat Taker, at least he had some momentum to sell the match a month or so ago. There were ways to get Punk out of the Rock or Cena feud and still have Punk keep some momentum. They have him end both by clean losses and now he has no momentum at all.

He's 27. So he's young. I cracked up at the Hurricanrana. He was tired, and it's not really in his tool box. Nice try though. Even Punk couldn't save his ass on that one, though he tried.

You can't have Cena going into the Rock program with a questionable win. I don't like it, but that's the way it is.

I think I hate his character more now than I did a year ago. The cartoony mannerisms in particular last night really rubbed me the wrong way. I realize his target audience is 6-year old girls, but still.
