We all know that spin is the thing with several viewpoints on the other BB. My question is what will be the most popular spins explaining rich and his disastrous play that was probably the sole reason in his team losing today? Give me your expected 'excuses'. This should be fun

Expect to hear 'Safety' so often, you'll think there's an OSHA film being made.

Hi.
I have not seen the game. Could somebody please explain was it really a safety or not. I have heard that the field was very wet and that Pope really couldn't stop from sliding into the endzone. |

RedNGold - It was a safety. Woodson recovered the ball on the three and had control of it before he slid over the endzone. While it was inopportune, it was according to the rules.
Some will argue that an INT is allowed to be stepped back into the endzone, but this was not an INT. |

I actually wish BUF had beaten Indy last week leaving the Chiefs the pleasure of eliminating the Donks from the playoffs.
Oh well,It still is very sweet to beat Denver. I will be listening it on the radio as local TV idiots have decided to show TEN and CLE . |

Here's an excuse for you....Oakland loses sometimes when it doesn't play as well as the opposition. When the other team plays with more spirit and brains, they may end up winning. When they are on, they can blow out good teams (see last week). When they don't bring it all to a game, they run the risk of an embarrassing loss like I saw today. Oakland still has a problem with consistancy. They are steadily improving year by year since Gruden came on board. But they are just not quite ripe yet. Today, they didn't play well enough to beat the Seahawks. Knock them down a coupla notches from the recent media accolades.
