Everything I have read indiciates he is done. Well, ... for now anyway. he claimns to be financially set for the rest of his life.

I've heard he was resigned already but being given time off, until the new year, at the latest. He legit wants to wrestle Austin at mania next year.

You know, in the whole Punk leaving through the crowd bit, I'm completely forgetting something else: Vince is supposed to fire Cena.

(the other reason I didn't think Punk would leave with the belt...)

No way Austin ever wrestles again. And, if he did, I don't see him rolling over to push Punk.

And as far as Punk taking time off, supposedly Cena wants time off, too and you can't do Raw without one of the two between Cena and Punk. And what else is Punk gunna do? He's a wrestler, not an actor or an MMA fighter. If he's gone, he'll be back by WM 28 at the latest.

Either way, I'm intrigued by where this goes.

That's been one of the more popular ideas on the sites I follow, that they're going to stable Punk and Cena, but I think it would be terrible....
