I picked up 7 and 8 from playstation store a while back for like 10 bucks each. Kinda wish I had it on my laptop though. Course I could just torrent it. Wish they would remake VII already.

I instantly bought it when I saw it. It was reflexive. I couldn't stop it.

Best game ever.
Also the only game I've ever bought more than one copy. I think I've bought and re-bought that shit like 3 times just to replay it. It never gets old. Oddly enough, I've never 100% completed the game though. I don't think I ever beat any of the Weapons (I distinctly remember getting my ass curbstomped by the one that swam around under the ocean. It was a ****ing slaughterhouse.). I've also never leveled a single character all the way up to 99. I don't have the patience for that shit. |

Speaking of retro gaming, I got BG1/2 + expansions, PS:T, IWD 1/2, and a few other old D&D games on GoG yesterday for $20. 1.99 per title. Got BG installed and modded last night, playing it using the BG2 engine in widescreen. Pretty sweet...

Is it the same publisher as the enhanced edition that is hung up on legal troubles?

Played through it twice, that was enough for me...It is an awesome game though.

I thought I had heard terrible things about the pc version.. is it decent?
That is pretty sweet. BG1's engine sucks so much in comparison (imo). I picked up the might and magic games..started VII and am pretty much loving that.

I have the original PC version, but it sucks because when playing on a modern resolution its totally jakced up looking, did they remedy that with this release? If so, I might buy it.

Great game, wonderful soundtrack, tons of replay value. I am almost scared to play it. I often ruin experiences I fondly remember by playing them when I am older and have new perspective.
