I realize many people shared this opinion but I'm not sure how any football fan watched Tim Tebow play in the NFL and concluded he could actually play the QB position. That was the biggest ****ing gimmick offense I've ever seen in my life...and the flukiest "run" I've ever witnessed as a football fan

Friggin' Romeo Crennel solved the god damn Tebow riddle...never play prevent, and put 9 in the box

Just watched some NFL total access because I can't sleep....if you can watch the segment with Heath Evans and Darren Sharper, do it. Lol. Sharper curb stomps Evans on Tebow.

Tim Tebow's throwing delivery is fixed, QB tutors say

Quarterback gurus are lining up to take credit for "fixing" Tim Tebow's elongated delivery now that he's set to sign with the New England Patriots.

After spending three days with the former New York Jet in early February, independent quarterbacks coach Steve Carlson claimed in April that he had fixed Tebow's accuracy issues by correcting a footwork problem that led to his looping throwing motion.

ESPN's Trent Dilfer tweeted Monday night that Dennis Gile of The [Q] Quarterback Academy, "one of the true ROCK STARS" in quarterback development, had made "real changes" to Tebow's delivery after working out for three and a half months.

Former Carolina Panthers quarterback Chris Weinke, who worked with Tebow at IMG Academy in Florida, said Monday that Tebow now is throwing with "great accuracy, great velocity" after fixing a major foot alignment flaw.

"Do I think he can play the quarterback position in the NFL? Yeah, no question," Weinke told USA Today. "Like I told Tim when I found out that he signed, 'You're locked and loaded, ready to go.'"

The common sentiment from all of Tebow's tutors is that the Patriots will be pleasantly surprised at the new and improved Tebow. It's one thing for Tebow to show the streamlined throwing motion in passing drills. It's quite another to resist sliding into old habits once the bullets start flying in the pocket. This is not the first time coaches have attempted to fix Tebow's delivery or crowed about his new, compact throwing motion.

As Cam Newton and Jake Locker can attest, maintaining proper footwork in the face of defensive pressure is an ongoing battle. Forgive our skepticism that the latest fix will be more than temporary for the owner of the lowest completion percentage among active quarterbacks.

Watch the video in this article. Heath Evens thinks Tebow is a great QB. The two other guys are trying to talk some sense into him, but it isn't working
Yeah, that interview was included in an NFL.com article too. Freakin hilarious.

Except that means taking the ball out of the hands of Tom freaking Brady. Why in the world would you do that?

I'm all for "in BB we trust" but this move makes very little sense to me. I will note, however, that we went with 2 QBs next year and there's no guarantee that Tebow makes the 53 man roster.

Yeah, let's take the greatest QB to play the game off the field and replace him with Tim Tebow. That's how we win championships! Woo hoo!

****ing stupid.

That's why I'm thinking that that is NOT the plan.

But the Jets took him in and dealt with the circus and couldn't figure out how to make any use at all from him, so I figure that can't be the plan either.

So either he's going to be an EIGHTH TE on the roster (JFC) or BB has some kind of plan that nobody has figured out yet. We sure as hell aren't going to spend a bunch of time trying to put together a gimmick run-option offense though. Not with a healthy Brady on the roster.
