DVD recording question.

I have a DVD burner and some DVD RW discs. Trouble is I want to record a 2 hour show onto the DVD and it says it is too large. Am I recording at too high a resolution as the DVD shows 4480 MB available or do I need to do some compression / manipulation first?

Thanks guys

Dave

How do you like Windows Media Center and what type of computer do you have? Thanks.
Very cool I'm actually using it right now to reply to you while recording a show. My Tivo with lifetime warranty is unplugged and hasn't been on in a month.

I can play a game, hop over here, watch DVDs, or recorded or live TV without leaving my bed. Thanks to wireless keyboard / mouse and network this works slicker than snot on a concrete floor. You can use 2 tuners if you want to record 2 shows at once. I have a 30" LCD HD TV so i use the TV input if I want to watch a show other than what I am recording.
