Geno Smith fans roll call

NEW THREAD HEADER (11/17/12):

The list is gone. We will all be Geno Smith fans when he gets drafted by the Chiefs. For historical documentation's sake, I'll keep the list in a separate post on this thread: http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showp...postcount=3314

WHY GENO SMITH?
If you're wondering if Geno Smith is right for you, check out this brilliant post by Saccopoo:

http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showp...postcount=5388

Next, we have a few GIFs you may be interested in from the Oklahoma game. Insane potential. These are the elite throws that very few QBs can make. What more can I say? Geno Smith can be a franchise QB in the NFL, and the Chiefs need to take a shot on him.

GIF #1:
Spoiler!

GIF #2:
Spoiler!

GIF #3 (My favorite):
Spoiler!

HOW DO WE GET HIM HERE?

Glad you asked. I posted this checklist earlier. It probably belongs in the thread header, and will be updated as the Chiefs close out their season and start a new chapter in their franchise story.

Preparing for Geno Smith's Arrival In KC Checklist

1. [X] Lose games and acquire the #1 overall pick
2. [X] Get Pioli and the Patriot Way cronies the **** out
3. [X] Hire new GM/coach

OPTIONAL (but highly recommended):
4. [ ] Re-sign/tag Bowe, who really wants to play in KC with Geno
5. [ ] Re-sign/tag Albert

Amen. QB's play in different offenses and they have different coaching and different players.

I think it was a bad choice for Geno to skip the Senior Bowl. It would have been a great opportunity for him to solidify his status as the number 1 QB by looking better than the other QB's in Mobile.

Great source for chiefs news, interesting threads, a funny post every now and then. You?

I don't come here for analysis from guys who actually waste time watching game tape for no benefit other than to be right on a message board.

sound familiar to what we've been hearing in this thread, teacher?

you're telling me you watched him play?

how old were you when he was QB at Kentucky?

it's hilarious you think posting these stats means something...you don't know anything about any QB that's been mentioned in this thread

Oh shit.

Honestly I will like the QB that we pick, whether it's Geno Smith, Tyler Wilson or EJ Manuel.

I trust this coaching staff with the QB they choose. I'm glad we can say that.

It's funny that you throw out the "you don't know about this QB" bullshit and yet you won't discuss the QB's or give an opinion.

You're just blabbering at this point. As you were.

Why don't more people just consider the reason Bailey, Austin and Geno put up such good numbers is because they're really good at football and they work harder than the other guy, and they're physically gifted athletes? That's what it boils down to; all three should have success in the NFL.

are you reeruned...seriously

i was 14 when he played for kentucky, I don't remember anything about how he played...

but you're telling me that you watched his games, and remember?

because comparing stats from two QBs almost twenty years apart doesn't mean anything...at all

you've got this dumb idea that looking at stats on espn is 'research'

Yeah same here. I think it will be geno because of his accuracy, but I also think Wilson is more accurate than he gets credit for

Either way just excited that this frot office seems to, so far put qb at the top of the list. At least from what they say

Yeah, that's exactly how that post was meant to be interpreted. The whole chiefs news part had nothing to do with football.

And where did I say I was above it? I simply implied that the guys who tout themselves (you, I presume?) as research guys aren't people I tend to listen to.

I like talking about opinions because I enjoy talking about football rather than spending the same amount of time watching game tape and acting like an analyst so I can be right on a message board. If that's weird in your opinion, then so be it.

yeah, we get it...you aren't interested in our opinions

but for some reason you need to tell us that in this thread repeatedly...why?

no one here is forcing you to read anything
