Yep, basically what I said earlier.

The world did not end... Also:

1. Chiefs didn't win a playoff game.
2. Royals didn't win more games then they lost.
3. MO tigers didn't find a way to blow a great season.
4. Hell hasn't frozen over yet.

Reason number four is the most likely to occur then the other three so we are safe.

Not only did the world not end, I have had a good day so far (knock on wood).

I ended up getting a very good Christmas bonus that was completely unexpected.
Busy morning, which also means a quick morning, before a firm lunch with some very interesting conversation.
My four day weekend commences at 5pm.
I received a $25 Brown Derby (liquor store) gift card from one attorney, and my other one gave me two bottles of red wine.

Plus, if last night is part of it, I got a boy's phone number, and I found out that my best friend's girlfriend is intimidated by me (I'm that last person that anyone's girlfriend should feel intimidated by).

Today is pretty much like the calm blue skies the morning after a tornado.

Leading up to the Mayan calendar whiff, we'd suffered 2 bouts of plague in our home for a week, blizzard, work turmoil, and a tree uprooted by the wind nearly crushed my prized hunting buggy.

So I had a few days at home with the kids that pretty much felt like

It's like a new beginning. We should all feel like

The Mayan calendar effectively ends THIS "age" because the calendar is finite.

Tomorrow is the first day of the NEXT "age". It would have required them to create a calendar for that age, if their civilization would have survived.
So the Mayans world ended on the day they finished their the calendar? That explains why there are no more Mayan calendars? The calendar is finite? If time/the world goes on forever then the calendar would be infinite.

Did you even read what was written? Are you having issues with the date because you actually ended today?

Awesome.
Not as awesome as you feel. Did my commentary not point to the end of an age, as you described it? I don't think of it as hilarious, I'd say that it's demeaning to all of the people that believed the end was at hand yesterday. Do the two of you tie this to the Second Coming of Christ? I sure hope not because that would slide your credibility pretty far down from the top rating.

So how does that differ from the end of a millennium or age as shown by htis?

Yes I read what you wrote. To summarize, you asked if anyone had done any research on the Mayan calendar, and then said you'd heard a conversation somebody had about the date simply being wrong, and that sounded "Plausible" to you. That's facepalm logic at its finest, so I was trying to help you out.
