Okay then, who do the Chiefs get as QB next year? Another loser veteran? Sorry, but I'm not going to take every word that these "expert" say as gold because there is always at least ONE QB from every draft class that ends up shocking everyone. Whoever the Chiefs GM will be, it's his job to figure out who that guy is and get him. There is absolutely no other option.

There isn't a Luck or RGIII in 80% of draft classes.

This narrative has gone beyond tired at this point.

Go and get a guy like Hassleback, trade Bowe for future picks, draft somebody in round 1 who will be an elite player at his position for years to come and then do whatever it takes to get your franchise QB the next time one comes around.

That would be much smarter than drafting a QB who you know probably won't pan out.

Nobody thought Rodgers was, or Roethlisberger. You have to take that chance. It just might work out.

Is Peyton Manning going to be a free agent next year as well? Trouble in Donk town?

You guys ****ing fell ass over tea kettle into Peyton Manning. Without him you would be struggling for your playoff lives against the ****ing Chargers and Raiders.

If you draft a QB in the first round and it doesn't work out, your team is poised to continually suck. When a better QB comes around, you'll already be in position.

If you draft a player you like with that top spot instead, your team will gradually improve out of the ashes to 6-10/7-9ish territory, forever consigned to pick DTs, OTs, WRs, and all the other slap dick positions. Occasionally the team will be in a position to settle for Ryan Tannehill-type prospects. Some of those will work out, some of them won't. Either way you slice it, you won't BE in a position to get a top QB when one comes around.

If you're going to go for the best QB you can find, it's far better to draft a guy and live with his failures and remain in suckville.

Like the Falcons did with Matt Ryan?

Where are you getting this bullshit that 2013's class sucks? The Donks were only ever in a position to go draft Blaine Gabbert or Jake Locker, and supposedly already had a QB on the roster that your then-coach really liked in Tim Tebow. That's why you dumbasses didn't take a QB at #2.

Where's Von Miller this year? I don't ****ing see him either. I also don't see Blaine Gabbert or another shitty prospect. I see three guys either at or better than the ability of Matt Ryan. Close e****ingnough for me.

Bray would be insane to declare this year. He'd be the 4th guy off the board I bet.

Feels like a shot at Wilson.

That's the one thing that irks me about Wilson. He's always telling the media about how he is the leader, and "as the leader I have to..." blah blah blah. It's as if he feels the need to tell everyone how great of a leader he is.

I'm still undecided on who they should draft. I will say I don't like the idea of ruling out QB's because of past QB's who went to the same school. That's like passing on Sam Bradford because Jason White didn't get drafted. I think Barkley is the best bet right now. Geno hasn't been impressive since his early Heisman bid and Klein is another Tebow, although I think he might be slightly better at the pro level.
