Thats fine. If Baltimore loses, they aren't magically out, it'd just be a feel-good thing for us to see the Royals catch another team, but as of right now, our elimination number goes down if TB wins.

They are saying that 2 weeks ago the PITT streak kinda of ended because they clinched a winning season.

So for 2 weeks the Royals have held the record.

It isn't a big deal at all. Now someone else has the longest active streak.

I don't see how it is even a question--you want the team farthest ahead to lose. The only possible exception is if we had games against that team, but that's not the case.

oh, and this would be a hilarious outcome NO ONE predicted. Everyone penciled in the #1 and #2 wild cards for the AL West and AL East, with some thinking the East might take both.

But if both wild cards go to the central? LOL

another exception might be if the lower team had an easy schedule coming up, but thats not the case here. The birds are gonna get murdered by the Red Sox.
