How long will Jamaal stay in KC?

With all the Hooplah surrounding Jamaal today, I thought about how long Jamaal would stay here. I would LOVE for him to stay a Chief forever, but it doesn't always end up that way.

Can someone give me the details on his contract right now; I'll keep looking myself.

Just enjoy him now. Two more seasons in the NFL is a lifetime especially at running back.

1. Never demanded you to search anything. I can find shit on my own.

2. Is there a "you must have 10,000 posts and all of the rep to make a thread" rule that I missed somewhere? Because if not, I'm doing the same thing everyone else does when they make new threads. If you don't like the topic, wonderful, go somewhere else.

3. All Patriots fans just moan and bitch when their own team isn't playing perfect. They're entitled assholes, so **** that.

If we get 2 more seasons like this from him, we're fortunate. He'll be 29 by then.

At age 30, even the great ones seem to go downhill fast. There are a few who have run for 1000 yards at age 30, but not many.

And what if Knile Davis looks like a star? No one knows what the situation will be in a couple years.
I can only think of a couple of RB's that looked good after they hit 30.....Barry Sanders and Marcus Allen. I am sure there are more but those 2 come to mind immediately.

But your point is correct....after 30 most of the backs have taken such a pounding that they either slow down or are more injury prone.

Jamaal signed a really conservative contract even after having a borderline MVP year. I don't see him as a guy who is going to be unreasonable about money.

Tiki Barber rushed for 1800 yards at the age of 30, 1600 at 31 and retired.

Charles hasn't taken a load of damage. He hasn't had a season where we road him 'til he dies.

Probably three more seasons playing for the Chiefs. I could see him going the John Elway route into the car business and open up a Cadillac dealership specializing in SUVs.
