I went 7 for 8. Honestly didn't think the Wild had it in them.

Well here we go. The madness starts Saturday night. There were almost 1,000 Kings fans waiting or the team charter from SJ last night. Freaking crazy.

2-2 in the West, 4-0 in the East, got 3 out of 8 series lengths correct. Long term my bracket is doomed.

While true, the Bruins didn't have the reputation of being chokers in the first place that the Sharks have. The Sharks have made it to the playoffs every year for a decade, but have never even made it to the finals. Ten years of that will make a fan base pretty cranky.

I don't really get it either...
Vancouver - goaltending
Philly - defense and goaltending
Pittsburgh in the past few years - defense and goaltending
Caps - offense
Blues - offense
Rangers - offense

The Sharks? They've had a couple of years where they couldn't score, but that happens... they've generally had good goaltending, defense, scorers, depth, leaders, etc. They've had some good series wins, but you'd think they would have at least made the Finals by now.

Geez I didn't realize what a quick turn around the Wild are facing with game 1 vs Chicago tomorrow night. I just figured it was at least not til Saturday at the earliest.

My bracket definitely shows my west-coast bias. I got all 4 winners right and all of them exactly to the game, with the exception of the Ducks/Stars series, which I had the Ducks winning in 5 instead of 6.

My east bracket?
Boom. Gone. Thanks Flyers.
