You guys get so hung up on what happened earlier in the season and will not admit that Denver is significantly better now than they were then.

And we have played and beaten some good teams like Baltimore, Cincy, Tampa, Pittsburgh, and NO.

In my mind, Denver is the favorite to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl and should be the favorite in the Super Bowl as well. And that isn't homer talk either. We are the most complete team in the tourney and also happen to have the #1 seed.

And even when we played crap teams we absolutely dominated them. We did whatever we wanted against them and the only thing that could stop us was ourselves.

I'll give you Cincy and Baltimore, but Tampa, Pitt and NO are all .500 teams or worse. You basically just enforced my statement.

And be honest - Houston gave you guys that 1 seed. It was theirs for the taking, but they didn't want it.

Because that totally happened in the first matchup...early in the season...when people were in awesome, midseason shape...

NE ran an uber fast no huddle against Denver. Brady even said after the game it was the fastest they have ever ran it. They ran over 100 plays if IRC, and the NFL average is like 55 or 60.

They were able to that because they were at home. They won't be able to do that on the road in the AFC Championship Game, the crowd will be too loud and the altitude will wear them out.

They played us at a time when our offense wasn't clicking and our defense was still learning a new system. We are a MUCH better team now than we were 3 months ago.
