That's an absolutely impossible situation. I don't know if any rookie could be successful with that setup.

And dumb ****s will use Geno's lack of success to bludgeon others, despite the situation that the player is walking into.

So it's ok to defend a QB who comes into a terrible situation and struggles as long as that QB isn't Alex Smith right?

AS isn't coming into that situation at all, dumbass. He gets the luxury of a fanbase and media that embraces mediocrity.

Hey dumbass I was referring to A. Smith's poor start to his career which people love to bring up here yet they're already lining up to defend Geno Smith because he's going into a "bad situation." The situation Alex Smith had to deal with in the first part of his career was worse than the holocaust.

The difference is that your boy Alex Smith eventually got handed an insanely good situation with Harbaugh and that stacked defense and continued to be a soft game manager, got outplayed by his backup, and finally got traded out of town. So yeah, I can understand why Chiefs fans aren't willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

LOL Chargers fan I guess it'd be better if he was more like Rivers throwing 35 ints over the last 2 years. You can have your yards number 1 stat that determines winning and losing in the nfl is turnover differential.

Geno would have been better off non drafted and picking a team as a UFA. Shame.
