Injured defensive tackle Junior Siavii was practicing for the first time in camp and is scheduled to be brought back slowly, according to Head Coach Herm Edwards.“We don’t want to throw a guy into the fire,” said Edwards. “That’s not fair to the player.”

To be fair, He didn't exactly take part in practice. Herm said he was doing some individule drills. What ever the hell that means. He's still not in pads yet.

if junior gets healthy and miraculously experiences an profound attitude adjustment, he could be a force...

he has the size and athleticism to be as good as any we've got, if not better...

he just needs to hit the weight room, work on his techniques a whole lot, and grow up some...

physically, he has the tools...

and it sounds like herm hasn't given up on him, yet...

Amongst his "tools" are bad knees. Not bad from injuries, just genetically fooked. I will be very surprised if this guy ever lives up to the high second we used to draft him.
