You can't go into Alabama with a Stud QB, good receivers, decent ol, terrible run game, hideous defense and moronic coaching and expect to win. No QB can offset those deficiencies.
Well that and the fact that Derek Dooley was the head coach. Have to factor that into the equation.

As for the rest you don't know what you are talking about. Dooley was partially to blame for their failure to win but he shoulders the load with Bray. All that blaming the wide receivers and defense is a bunch of crap. That's the same old "I support the quarterback" argument you get here all the time. They were in games and he porked it at the end. That's a fact. You people are ****ing crazy. Why in the **** are you latching on to some undrafted third string wanna be pro quarterback like it's your mama's teet? I'lll try to stay away but I hate the homerism.
Because I watched every game that he played since his sophomore year in HS. Oh and football is a team sport and you obviously can't grasp that. He broke many of Peyton's records at UT while the defense allowed 40+ a game. Even Peyton almighty couldn't win in that situation. Also, Denarious was a Senior when Bray took the UT reins at half time in South Carolina during Bray's true freshman year.
You can't see the potential of a 22 yr old that played just 3 years in college and dealt with horrid coaching and that really proves how ignorant you are. You also think a QB is solely responsible for wins and losses in a team sport with 53 players. Learn the game of football and stop regurgitating the stupidity that you hear on mindless sports talk radio.

I can grasp all of it and I've heard it all before. Potential means he hasn't done anything where I come from. I question his heart and for good reason. He quit on his team a couple of times. There is a reason he didn't get drafted. All I am saying here is that he has a lot to prove. That's how all of this started. I still think he has a lot to prove on and off the field.

Yeah his coach sucked. Yeah his defense sucked. He is a stat complier who chokes at the end of games. Can you tell me how many times he choked on the final drive of games? If you watched every game you should know.

I can talk about how good he should have been and you can talk about how good he could have been but the bottom line is that he hasn't done shit on the college or pro levels.

Bray Chokes

1. North Carolina 2010 - Interception in OT
2. Florida 2011 - Throws interception on final 4th quarter drive
3. Kentucky 2011 - Throws interception on final 4th quarter drive
4. Georgia 2012 - Throws interception on final 4th quarter drive
5. South Carolina 2012 - Throws interception on final 4th quarter drive. He fumbled on the drive before that.
6. Missouri 2012 - Throws three incomplete passes in OT to end game

Note that these are just the games they lost by seven or less. He had a chance in every one of them. This isn't including games like the 2011 South Carolina game where he threw 4th quarter interceptions and lost 14-3. If you like stats I guess Bray is your guy. If you need one drive at the end of the game you should run away from Bray.

Damn. You put a lot of work on that. Only proves that you are indeed a troll. Please get back to me with the amount of times in those games that a ball hit mychael Rivera in the hands and it popped up for a pick or when a game winning td pass was dropped by Justin Hunter, or when a TD was taken off the board because Cordarelle Patterson chose to celebrate before the goal line. I remember those and a few others happening and if you can get the dates, you can troll the Raider, Viking and Titan boards too. Too bad you still haven't figured out that it's a team sport.

I had just moved to Kingsburg and had no idea who he was. I was just there to watch my Brother in law play. He was a junior and Bray was a sophomore. After the first pass, I looked at my father in law and told him that "that QB will be in the NFL some day". It was bombs away. Kinda like watching Dan Fouts athe Chargers of the '80's. I didn't miss a game since. When we did get behind, everyone was calm because we had Bray and he was clutch.
He actually only got to play about two thirds of the time because it often was a blow out and they also had a back up QB named London Lacy(got a full ride to Uc Davis as a QB and is the starter this year for the Aggies) whom the coaches really liked. Bray and Lacy were competing against each other since pee wee. Lacy was really good, but Bray obviously was better and it was unfortunate that both were in the same class. Lacy would've gotten more attention if he was a couple years behind and we Could've used him.
This year Kingsburg has a stud LT named Isaiah Trevino and he's 6-6 330 and can flat out move. He's already got offers from 7 schools including 3 Pac 12 teams before his senior year even started. Fully expect the offers from the Pac 12 powerhouses to roll in once the season starts. Not as exciting as watching a bomb fest, but solid O line play is fun to watch in its own way. Sky's the limit for him.

Tyler Bray needs to see reps with the twos in preseason. It's time for him to take the next step.
