Well, one thing is for sure: if we're wrong about Geno, this forum should never come to a consensus on any QB ever again.

I'd say he couldn't pre-snap identify who his first read was supposed to be on many occasions. When he couldn't...

That's the WCO.

I don't understand how a QB from a different system that requires THE MOST precise timing on slants and screens isn't a good fit for the WCO. And yes, that takes into account all the changes and tweaks it has gone through from coach to coach all the way up to what Mike McCarthy runs in Green Bay today.

How they don't project Geno to the West Coast offense is beyond me. One of the predominant knocks on Geno is literally that he threw a lot of short passes. Don't get it.

The QB's job is to get the ball into the playmakers hands without turning it over.
I'd say Geno does a fine job at that task.

To easy.

He's not supposed to get the ball into his playmaker's hands until he's read everything, including War and Peace.

Agreed.

And I've never agreed on a QB on this forum with any of you slap dicks.

Ever.

(I was basically the only guy around here wanting to draft Kaepernick and got shit about that. And I like Geno a lot more than Colin.)

But Geno is the absolute shit.

This franchise can go straight to hell if they don't draft him.

Not sure what we're trying to argue here. Geno did throw a lot of short passes.

And I don't have a problem with him playing to the system. The short passes weren't a Geno issue. They were a Holgorsen issue.

About 20% of those short passes were quick screens to Bailey or Austin. And it was by design. A few times I also saw Geno purposely not throw this screen, and instead throw downfield because the CB bit hard on the screen. A wise decision.
