In honor of Halloween: Top 5 Horror movies of all time
#5 Carrie: The Prom scene still creeps me out. Not to Mention Carries' freaky mother. Maybe the most ripped off ending in horror movie history

#4 Psycho: Scared the crap out of me as a kid, and still sends shivers down my spine at times. The shower scene is probably one of the most terrifying scenes in movie history.

#3 The Thing (1982): John Carpenter at the top of his game. One of the best gross out movies of all time. Creates a real sense of dread and isolation.

#2 Halloween: Another classic from Carpenter. The original and still the best slasher/stalker movie of all time. The camerawork in creating suspense and fear in this film is brilliant.

# 1 The Shining: Kubrick is the master. The whole film is creepy from beginning to end with the perfect use of music and camerawork. Who didnt have nightmares after seeing those girls in the hallway at the Overlook? Nichalson's performance has been parodied many times sense, but its downright scary!

Has anyone seen Suspiria? I've heard good things about it, but it never creeps up my Netflix list due to me putting new releases at the top.

Yea...Cronenberg made some great films back in the day. Rabid, The Brood, Scanners, Videodrome. Hes one seriously weird dude....
