Late night bullshit: The Chiefs have replaced John Dorsey with you.

Congratulations. We all hate you now.

The Chiefs ended the season at 6-10. They're picking 8th overall in 2015. What do you do?

1. Do you extend Alex Smith, and to what kind of contract?

2. Do you extend Justin Houston, and to what kind of contract?

3. Do you extend Eric Berry, and to what kind of contract?

4. Here is the team's salary cap in 2015 (be sure to hit the "2015" tab). Do you cut anybody?

5. Josh Martin is a RFA. Do you tender him, and if so, to what?

6. We have the following free agents: RB Joe McKnight, FB Anthony Sherman, WR Kyle Williams, WR Junior Hemingway, OT Ryan Harris, OT J'Marcus Webb, OT/G Jeff Linkenbach, G Rishaw Johnson, C Rodney Hudson, DE Allen Bailey, OLB Dezmon Moses, CB Chris Owens, LS Thomas Gafford.

7. Here is a list of free agents. If you do the work to subtract the contracts you've cut, and added in the extensions you've signed, who would you target in free agency?

8. Who/what are you targeting in the draft?

Makes no sense NOT to fault Dorsey & Co because part of the reason why the cap hamstrung them was because of some pretty STUPID contracts handed out LAST off season.

How much money did we waste on:

Dunta Robinson
Sean Smith
Alex Smith
Anthony Fasano
Geoff Schwartz
Chase Daniel

I'd rather have Branden Albert on this roster than all of those guys combined. We don't need any of them right now.

You don't know that.

And you would have slurped up all the Geno koolaid and said "let's give him time," because the Chiefs drafted him, and if the Chiefs do something, you like it.

Because Geno behind our line would be a total thing of beauty.

With my plan we would have kept Albert and had more money to shore up the G position. Probably could have held onto Schwartz.

Alex isn't exactly Stonewall Jackson back there. He gets pretty ****ing skittish a lot.

His athleticism is usually the thing that saves him when stuff breaks down. Geno has that same ability.

That is the reason all of those drafts under other Head Coaches sucked ass. Kucharik was here through all of those drafts for Vermeil just like Carl.
Carl and Bill have had a list of horrible drafts that lie outside of Herman Edwards years.

Alex Smith ran for 400+ yards last year and got some pretty important 1st downs with his feet.

6th in rushing yrds for a QB

When you say that, would you fire Reid too?

Also, I wonder if Reid would even want to hang around for a rebuild? I'm not sure he'd really want to screw around with a rookie QB as the starter. I think part of the reason he chose KC was because we had a lot of talent.

Does going 6-10 and deciding to rebuild mean losing Reid? If we go 6-10 is he worth keeping anyway?
