Agreed. As long as they don't try to turn it into a family drama, I'll probably watch.

This is about where I am. It has a shot to be decent.

There is some really bad acting, and some horrid writing, but it can do OK if it doesn't try to be something it can't.

i didn't enjoy it at all, tbh... Maybe it takes playing the game to care about the horrible story?

I finally got around to watching it last night too. It was full of cliche characters and poor CGI. That said, it had enough to keep me interested for another episode or two.

As for "other shit that SyFy smears onto TV", the movies they show are beyond awful but they have had some decent series. BSG, Eureka and Warehouse 13 are/were all quality TV shows. Being Human and Continuum are both entertaining, too.

The CGI in spots was really terrible, almost so bad it was funny to me. I thought it had a nice balance of action and character development for the first episode. Not a great show by any means but one I will DVR and watch when I have spare time.

Ok after week 3 I no longer think they've imagined a creative new world full of different alien races.

Nope. Now I'm convinced they just wanted an excuse to put every sci-fi cliche in the world in one series...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

I haven't even watched episodes 2 & 3 yet.

I guess that my level of excitement has faded.

Last nights was the worst of the series and they seemed to drift back to the old Syfy garbage CGI and stupid plot.

It was interesting for about 2 weeks.
