Bungie Destiny

Didnt see this posted anywhere.

Bungie's Destiny Will be Revealed in 5 Days

Mark your calendars for this Sunday, February 17.

by Lucas M. Thomas
February 12, 2013

Yesterday we brought to you the news that a reveal of Bungie's next project, Destiny, was being hinted at for this upcoming Monday, February 18 – an augmented-reality game on the studio's website seemed to be pointing toward that date. Well, we won't have to wait quite that long. It's now been announced that Destiny will be unveiled one day earlier than we thought, on this Sunday, February 17.
An official Facebook page went live today and made that announcement as its first order of business. A Twitter account for the game has also been activated as well.
And if all that isn't enough to get you hyped, have a first look at the game's just-revealed logo as well:

Looks like free DLC missions and quests plus microtransactions for non game play items is starting soon...

Absolutely. It would be nice to have the dressup freaks funding our gaming habits. Of course, my kids will be begging me to purchase them dance moves.

Good luck with that kids.

I got really lucky with this raid. My group leader knows the raid inside and out. Of the three times I have completed it with them we have wiped twice. That's not a typo. Two wipes in three raids.

If anyone wants to try the raid with a Sherpa or two, you should definitely hit me up or Clyde Frog (Gentleman) we have the raid down. The hardest part is probably the jumping.

The boss fights are hard if you don't do the correct things, but as soon as you realize how to do your part, they become easier.

My group has it down to an hour now. If my idiot friends would learn how to jump we could easily get it to 45 minutes.

It's a ton of fun.

Don't see me ever doing it if jumping is involved. It took me 30 minutes to get to the boss for the cult shell a couple days ago, all of it figuring out how to make it to the portal from the ground (which I did...). I think I died 25 times.

Got my sleeper simulant today. Can't damage anything with shields but christ does it obliterate everything once they're down. I just tested it on the recon team boss collossus on the dreadnaught and it went down in about 4 shots.

Sleeper Stimulant takes out Skolas in less than 3 minutes and Pilot Servator in less than 1 minute.

It's some tricky jumping for sure. Even after multiple runs it's still easy to **** it up.
