*****Trade analysis superthread 2013*****

I figured we may as well have a big thread for trade advice as it will likely get lost in the repository thread.

Send him an e-bitch slap.

Usually that means they won't re-offer it, or send a dumb proposal instead.

I acted as if I had to think it over as well. We were negotiating via text, otherwise I would have jumped on it immediately.

Told him I'd either send him an offer in the AM or I'd send him a text saying no deal.

standard 10 team. I have begun the season 0-3 and need to make some moves. I am heavy at RB so I have been contacting other managers for trades.

My current team

QB: Phillip Rivers(just added from FA), Colin Kaepernick
WR: DeSean Jackson, Brandon Marshall, Ryan Broyles (just added FA)
RB: Doug Martin, Alfred Morris, Frank Gore, Giovani Bernard, Knowshon Moreno, Le'Von Bell (Just added FA)
TE: Tony G, Charles Clay (just added FA)
K: Caleb Sturgis (Just added FA)
DEF: KC (Just added FA)

I dropped the following people for the FAs I dropped: Houstan DEF, Hakeem Nicks, Miles Austin, Ben Tate, Phil Dawson and Kellen Winslow

I have an accepted pending trade. He said he would do just Alfred Morris and Brandon Marshall for Charles and Amendola but I wanted it to be fair so no one in the league would bitch so I threw in Knowshon Moreno.

Trading away: Alfred Morris, Knowshon Moreno and Brandon Marshall
Getting: Jamaal Charles and Danny Amendola.

Waiting on this to pass a 24hr league "vote"

I also offered a trade below and the guy said he is "pondering it"

EDIT: He accepted this trade

Offering: Frank Gore and Tony G
Will get: Julias Thomas TE DEN

Guy has Jimmy Graham, Jermichael Finley and Julias Thomas for TEs. He has at RB David Wilson, Jacquizz Rodgers and Bryce Brown. He is hurting for RBs so I think this would help both of us. He could use Gonzo for a back up until Jermichael is clear and maybe trade him for something else. IDK why he has 3 TEs anyway. He is the other 0-3 team in our league.

How is my team shaping up? Think I can come back from 0-3? Thanks

After trades
QB: Phillip Rivers, Colin Kaepernick
WR: DeSean Jackson, Ryan Broyles, Danny Amendola
RB: Doug Martin, Jamaal Charles, Giovani Bernard, Le'Von Bell
TE: Julias Thomas, Charles Clay
K: Caleb Sturgis
DEF: KC

I have two open spots for free agents so I will hit the wire and see what I can come up with to help the WR position.

10 team ppr, two player keeper league.
Offered Reggie Wayne and jordy Nelson for Decker and Fitzgerald. I am steam rolling people people for the most part and Julio is not keeper eligible. Not thinking this trade really makes me much better and I'd be getting an often injured player and an old one. Thoughts?

QB: stafford, Wilson
RB: Charles, Martin, Bernard, mendenhall, b brown
Wr: j jones, fitz, decker, shorts, thompkins, randle, a Roberts
Te: Cameron,
D/st: bears, ravens

Don't want to piss on your parade but I think you got fleeced in the Marshall trade. Your wrs are not good or deep at all.

I've been offered Dwayne Bowe, Mike Williams, and Ryan Broyles for Roddy White and Fred Jackson. I have RB depth out the ass, but am currently starting Emmanuel Sanders and Mike Wallace at WR. I get Blackmon back next week, too.

Do I take this trade?

No worries, I appreciate the feedback. I know I am hurting at WR right now without Marshall. My hopes are that Amendola can come back and stay healthy. The way NE is hurting at WR he should be a WR 1 when he is healthy. I have two open roster spots for free agents so I will be hitting the wire to get a couple WRs to fill in.

Here are my thoughts
RED= traded away, Green= Traded for Blue= Free agency

QB ranking went from 24 to 5 going with Rivers since Kaep/9ers are choking

RB went from the 9th, 10th, 13th, 15th and 24th ranked RBs to the 2nd, 9th, 10th with Bell as a wild card. I did lose my depth but starting lineup is better I hope everyone stays productive and healthy.

WR went from 2nd and 12th to 2nd and ? Broyles moving up to the slot with the injury to Burleson and Amendola possible upside when healthy and WRs available in FA like Brian Hartline and DeAndre Hopkins. I still have DeSean and my #2 can play whoever matches up best out of the WR3/4 pool. This is my weakest link.

TE went from 9th and 21st ranked to 3rd and 9th ranked

K: Went from 29th to 3rd ranked

DEF: Went from 25th to 1st

When trades happen you cannot always get better everywhere. There is generally some give and take. I'm weaker at WR at one spot and at RB depth but have gained at starting position strength for RB, TE, QB, K and DEF. Had my team not started 0-3 I would not go the these lengths to get rid of my depth to raise my starters up high but I'm in meltdown mode. Does my thought process make sense or am I off my rocker? Thanks again

I have about 30 minutes to do this trade:

DeAngelo Williams for Benard Pierce and my choice of Aaron Dobson, Malcolm Floyd and Ryan Broyles.

Isn't Ray Rice coming back soon? Pierce value is about to drop. I like Broyles upside right now out of those three. With Gronk coming back and Amendola not far behind, Dobson stock is falling too. Id keep DeAngelo unless you really need a WR.
