Electronics Jailbreaking/Unlocking a 3G

I'm getting ready to sell my phone and thought I'd get more out of it that way. I have 3.1.3 and 05.12.01 firmware, so it looks like I have to use UltraSnow to unlock and PwnageTool to jailbreak.

The wrinkle is, PwnageTool is Mac only. Redsnow is another option to jailbreak, but then I can't unlock. Suggestions?

craigslist. Seems like unlocking/jailbreaking is about $20.

Use Spirit. Easiest one and fastest one. It's the one I used for my 3Gs. All you have to do is click a button.

After you jail break it...go to cydia -> Manage -> Repo666 -> Ultrasn0w and install that. Then your phone will be unlocked.

I like easy/fast.

Problem is, the market is saturated with 3Gs and I still have to fix the top power button. Anyone looking for one, PM me.

Haven't tried anything yet. Most methods (I think) require you to be able to shut off your phone, which I can't do with a broken power button.

Knock on wood, assuming the guy shows this afternoon, I'll have sold my 3G as is.

Spirit is apparently ridiculously easy and will probably be necessary for the next owner. Tried, unsuccessfully, to replace a faulty power button last night. I apparently needed the button and housing and only bought a button. Man those connectors are tiny.
