I think the Steam Box is going to kick the console's collective asses. Anyone want to bet that you can get the "Best" version of the Steam Box with HL3 pre-loaded?

I'm hearing a lot of "here's what we could do" and what the future of gaming holds and not a lot of "here's what we have."

I'm worried this thing is going to go "Dreamcast." A lot of good and future-oriented ideas that are awesome at first but trying to be a slave to 4 or 5 or 6 masters pulls the whole project down...

If it were anyone other than Valve & Gabe Newell I would tend to agree with you.

Perhaps that's the Valve fan boy in my comming out.
