Some Fun Posts from Giant fans following the game

I'm not one for hissy fits. But if there was ever a time to vent. It is now.

The 1-4 guys couldn't have made it any easier for Davis and Holland the last time through. Absolutely infuriating.

Now it hinges on Vogey to get them back in the series. fuck. Just. fuck.

***********************************************************

A's fans are already rooting for the royals on my FB. hypocrites and fair weather fans. My commute to Oakland only consists of A's hats because obviously, they cannot reason purchasing essentially a beltran jersey.

*****************************************************************

How does anyone get a hit off Wade Davis?

His cutter is just plain nasty.

******************************************************************

Pitching, D and timely hitting.

They're doing it just that bit better than us right now.

We have a hill to climb now.

*****************************************************************

I don't know if it's possible. Not with their bullpen. It puts too much pressure on the team offensively to get a lead by the 6th inning.

**********************************************************

our game is only hit every 5th game they will win because they hit everyday.. btw Voggy will not last 3 innings better get Petit up early like 1st inning..lol Belt hitching again I see,, Huddy gives up his era to bad ,, one of these days that garbage hitting coach is going to be fired! !!! we have a lot of work to do in off season lets see just how penny pinching the Giants can get...lol

***************************************************************

I'll have no problems if the Royals win the world series. Obviously I'd much prefer the Giants did but they're a hungry side on the up and if they win it all, they'll have deserved it. To do what they have done specially with such a low payroll (100 million) is incredible. I guess all those draft picks were bound to come together one of these years. I figured they were still a year or two away though. Wade Davis numbers are actually much better than their all star closer, Holland's. Crazy. Giants better get an early lead off Vargas or it's goodnight nurse.

****************************************************************

Watching them both, Davis is a far superior pitcher to Holland.

His stuff is nigh on unhittable.

That pitch sequence and locations he threw to Panik would have struck anybody in the league out.
******************************************************************

Vogelsong should not pitch in any way shape or form. he was terrible in his last start and there is to much at stake. I would go with Petit he is a much better option.

********************************************************************

I fear we are the band on the Titanic. We have Madbum and that is it. I have a bad feeling about game four. KC is simply the better team. Better pitching, better hitting and better managing. I wondered how KC would react to losing their first post-season. Well they came back and kicked our butts twice. How did the Giants react; by barely showing up. Somebody tell Buster it's the World Series.

*******************************************************************

If you win the first game and lose the next four is that still a sweep, cause right now it's smelling like one

***************************************************************

I hope the Royals close them out in the next two games. 12-1 in the Post season would be the best record of all time.

But lets not get too overconfident-they have a solid team and won't quit. Their relievers are terrific. Sucks to see J A pitching for them-I always liked him.

Glad to see their fans giving up-they really seemed to be going through the motions at the game and not even a fat Steve Perry dancing around to one of his glory days songs could help them. I hope we kick them in the nuts and win game 3 tonight!!

I understand a WS win is a WS win and you take it no matter how you get it because it's obviously crucial.

And I hope we win it all after a win today and Sunday.

However it would be nice to win today...be up 3-1, and then if we did happen to lose Sunday, at least KC would be able to have the chance to win it all at the K on Tues...because this city really deserves a WS win at the K.

But again...you take the wins if you can get them...if they win should win it all w/ a win today and then on Sunday then so be it...I'll take that any day of the week too.

Itd make a nice story book ending to this historic playoff run.

I still cant believe this has all happened...I mean I'm still stoked as hell this team was able to come back in that OAK playoff do or die game. JFC I've never been so white knuckled during a game in my life...not even the 2008 Mario's Miracle tops that playoff game. IMO it was the best playoff game ever.

Is now the appropriate time to mention SF has won 2 of the last 4 World Series? Fans tend to be a bit more rational and, um, complimentary when they've been on top.

They've won 2 of the last 4 world series so that fan base isn't as desperate for a Championship as Baltimore. They probably see things a little more objectively.

Unlike bandwagon 49er fans, the giants have always had a well mannered educated, realistic fan base. We all have our douche bags of course, but for the most part we are realistic. And to be honest we see a lot of ourselves in these Royals. The teams are built almost identically. It's been a Hell of a ride. Couldn't lose to a more deserving or classier bunch. I love Ned Yost. I really enjoyed him as a manager if the brewers. Loved Escobar and aoki when they were up here too.

Obviously, being relatively new to the kc history it's clear why you guys are so passionate about this.

I'm glad you guys got to experience this.

Just curious.

In your mind, if the Giants win with Vogelsong tonight, is there a difference between Bochy making the wrong decision and getting lucky and John Dorsey making the wrong decision on the Anthony Sherman trade and getting lucky?

No, we don't. Pitching bum tonight is pointless, and panicky.

When we were down 3-1 to the cards in 2012 in the nlcs, bochy pitched barry zito in the road against the cardinals. Ask Hamas how that worked out.

This isn't Bochy's first rodeo.
