Yeah, so I saw a lot of movies this weekend.

Elizabeth: The Golden Age - Mediocre, at best. Slow and dragged on. Shorten it to 2 hours and it's golden. It's not, so it fails.

Michael Clayton - Amazing. Everything about it is awesome. However, it's VERY complex and mind bending. You have to think, so be prepared. I still feel like I'm missing key details of exactly what happened. Gotta see it again.

Across the Universe - Perfect is one word that comes to mind. It just works. And, contrary to many people I bet, the movie is best viewed sober. Trust me.

The ending to the Wrestler was a perfect setup for a sequel, which I would definitely see. Everything, including Marisa, is hanging in limbo and you really can't say how their situation turned out.

I have Slumdog and the Wrestler as my top two films for the past year. I've also seen Milk, Doubt and Frost/Nixon, and none of them were even in the same league as these two. I have yet to see Benjamin Button, but that will happen next week.

Just seen the uninvited at a friends. That movie is all kinds of trippy. good movie. I enjoyed it.

Just finished 'City of God'.

Loved it..moving film..

If anyone was a fan of AmoresPerros or Slumdog Millionaire, do yourself a favor and watch this movie.

Saw the new Fast and the Furious last night. (finally)

It rocked. Vin acts like every movie he acts in, moody with that slightly strained look on his face like he has to shit. The girls were badass, the car scenes were crazy and I'm pretty sure I smelled like fuel when it was over.

Recently watched Doubt...it was an average movie...i wouldn't rent it. Thought the acting was good but the storyline blah...

The Spirit=pure dogshit, didn't get past 20 min

That was my gut reaction. Then I watched Frost/Nixon and revised accordingly.
