I think he would fit extremely nicely as a slot receiver/KR/PR. I imagine the Tuna would require a 4th or maybe even 2 of our 5ths. Would you pull the trigger?

To my credit, I had serious questions about the guy who sells hot dog's effort on the concourses when he was coming out. His hips aren't particularly fluid and, combined with his start-and-stop motor, it spelled BUST to me.

I heard from one of the new media contacts that they heard that the reason we didn't go for Ginn was all the dropped passes. He was a drive killer. Ginn will not be happy just returning kicks and punts and wants to start at WR.

So they didn't want a disgruntled WR who drops too many passes in the locker room.

Good reasons to pass on the guy, IMO.

My take on this situation is that with Chiefs brass being so close to Parcells, we had as good a handle on the pros and cons of Ginn as any potential trading partner. And with San Fran trading a pick that was later than our worst 5th, it's pretty clear that we didn't want the guy. I'm OK with that.
