Off Season Lets Talk Guns

Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.

Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?

Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

Part 2: http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=293623

depending on more info about the scope the 7mm seems too high, I'm thinking of the SKS (at 250), but would consider the 7mm also for about 500, again depending on the scope.

Looking at them thursday. If I pass on the 7mm, and someone here is interested I'd be willing to get it and sell it right away. PM me if interested. Otherwise, some feedback/opinions about these two guns are always appreciated.
I may be interested in the SKS if you pass on that one.

I'm probably going to offer 250 for it, they want 300. If I pass it will be for that reason. Let me know if you'd take it for 300 then

Not sure, first guess is norinco because of the synthetic stock. But he said there isn't a lot of marking either, so who knows. I'll be taking a lot of notes on Thursday for research including a SN check with NCIC. The guy is selling for a relative who got into trouble with the saddle tramps, to help recoop grandparents paying his legal fees. It's for a felony so he can't have the guns anyway.

If you do buy it, make him include the original stock if he still has it.

Got a membership to a private outdoor range. 7-12yd for handgun, 100yd rifle, 200yd rifle, and a skeet shooter. Costs $45 per year for unlimited use. Downside is that it is an hour away but it will make for some nice "me" time.

ProMag Industries can suck my left nut.

I have a faulty magazine I contacted them about on 11/21. I am told I would be routed to the returns/repair department and they would get back to me. Never hear back.

On 12/2 I fill out the same page on their site asking for help. This time I get no reply.

Yesterday I write on their FB page asking for help. No reply.

Today I call them and ask them for help and I get cut off during my explanation of what is going on, get cold transferred to the returns department but no hold music or anything to let me know that I am actually being connected to someone. To top it off... no one ever came on the line.

I will be discontinuing use of all promag products and will not be purchasing from this company again. On the same day I sent my emails, I bought 3 Beretta magazines on back order. I got them in the mail today.

I got a back ordered item before I got to talk to anyone at ProMag to get my issue resolved. THAT is terrible customer service.

That'd be cool in a 9mm pistol, maybe a .40? But a .45? They already kick like a mule.

Make that puppy in a 9mm and I can see it's advantages.

That's going to be an expensive gun. I still haven't seen a frim price but I would guess somewhere between three and four grand depending on the model? I can buy a lot of useful guns for that kind a scratch.

It's norinco, no original stock. Two 30 rd mags, from the serial number and research it was made in the 70s and came to the states through cal arms in Ontario California. 300 dollars. Serial number was also clean from a national database, not warm to any crime reports.
