Colonoscopy Wednesday morning
Any suggestions ? I've got my colon blast prepped .

Dr. Told me she is a huge 49ers fan. I told her thanks for the QB, how'd your year go.

Was that a bad idea ?

Do it. I've had friends walking around with a colostomy bag in their pants before they died of colon cancer. You fart with that bag and it blows a hole in it and your leaking shit all over the place. Colonoscopy doesn't hurt, you're out cold. Just fart a lot when you wake up lol

One thing. Afterwards for a couple of days I was shitting my brains out. I think I cleaned out too much of the good bacteria in my digestive system. I added kefir and yogurt into my diet and I was fine after that.

Ok now let's talk price tag. I have really good insurance. My gi Doctor and his clinic where procedure was done were "in network". I got the statement from blue cross blue shield and the clinic charged $5,200.00 for the procedure. BCBS agreed to pay $893.00, and the clinic accepted this as payment in full lol what a racket they got going on.

I had my first one June 8. Had a gallon of prep to drink -- 8 oz every 15 minutes til half was consumed, wait a couple of hours, then repeat until it was gone. It didn't taste good -- a weirdly sweet taste that got old fast -- but it wasn't horrific. But there was so much of it that I was really choking back the last 3-4 glasses and chasing them with orange Gatorade.

The result was like someone hooked a garden hose nozzle to my ass. My shitting (if you could call it that) was done by about 1 a.m. Appointment was at 8. They knocked me out, I woke up and was done. Went to Perkins and ate a big breakfast because I hadn't eaten for 36 hours.

Doc said I had an "unusually good" colon -- not even a polyp.

Glad I had it done, and glad I'm good for another 8-10 years.

I prepped with that stuff 10 years ago. Nasty stuff lol but I felt good afterwards. This concentrated shit I drank this time ****ed me up for a week afterwards
