The Chiefs have been trying for several seasons to find a RT(still not solved). Replacing a LT will be snap!

Are you ****ing high?

He wasn't as good in '11 as he was last year.

Put the pipe down.

Take a look at how the best LTs are paid:

1. Jason Peters at Tackle $10,400,000
2. Joe Thomas at Tackle $10,000,000
3. Ryan Clady at Tackle $9,828,000 franchise tag
4. Brandon Albert at Tackle $9,828,000 franchise tag
5. Jordan Gross at Tackle$8,700,000
6. D'Brickashaw Ferguson at Tackle $7,250,000
7. Russell Okung at Tackle$7,060,000
8. Doug Free at Tackle $7,000,000
9. Michael Roos at Tackle $6,000,000
10. Gosder Cherilus at Tackle $5,500,000
http://www.spotrac.com/top-salaries/nfl/tackle/

LT is a premium position. And we have a very good one. You can see from the list that some of those guys aren't earning the contracts they got. But that's the market. Drafting a tackle because you can save money is idiotic any way you look at it. Some teams struggle to find good LTs. You're justifying letting a good one go and hoping to find a new one all for the sake of saving a few million dollars of Clark Hunt's money. WTF?
just going to point this out......Doug Free, is a right tackle. Tyron Smith is their Left Tackle. And Gosder Cherilus, is a right tackle as well, they had jeff backus, and are looking at drafting lane johnson, or eric fisher......

Is that about right?
and about 7 years younger, leaving more cap space to resign guys that are going to be due soon like Eric Berry.

As a G he has quick feet.

The fact he's moved to LT from G and is even considered above average proves his natural athleticism.

Watch him. He plays like he's looking for the one punch. He's hand fumbling, hand fumbling, legs walking, walking, PUSH.

His whole game is finding that one point in your spin, your slap, your dig in that he can feel with his hands that allows him to then push you out and off...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Yes and hell no to guard.

He has shown to be a top 10 LT last year. Even with a ****fest of qbs.

With a solid qb I feel he can be Top 5-7 range.

Albert deserves to play LT

I'm sure our fan base would have insisted on a 20-year contract extension for Trent Dilfer though.
Colin Kaepernick, and Russell Wilson, between them, are going to win quite a few super bowls......

a second and third round pick mind you.......

Yea well, those of us old enough to remember thought the same thing of Marino.

Not saying they won't, but it's just not as easy as you make it sound.

Nods. I can agree with that. But with the way they are building those teams, i would bet before its said and done, that the number between them would be at least 3.........

Lets make a bet on your previous grounds. Maybe $500 or $1000 to start. We can have a mod here hold the bet if you would like.
