I say you start him whichever side he looks best on, regardless of the intentions when they drafted him. Didn't Stephenson look good on the left side when stepping in for Albert? If so, Stephenson on left, Fisher on right.

Competition between Fisher and Stephenson. Best players gets the job. The loser moves to RT.

Fisher was playing through injury all year.
If he can stay in the weight room and add 10-15 pounds of muscle, I think he can play the left side, but it's one heck of a risk. |

If he can't lock down the left tackle position in year 2...does that make the pick a bust?

This is why Dorsey gets paid the big bucks. That's all I have to say.
Pretty huge decision coming, though. |

Decision on wether to keep Albert or not, or the decision on where to play Fisher? I don't see any way they keep Albert if they have plans to retain Berry and Houston in the future.

I really don't see any way that they keep Albert next year. They aren't franchising him again and he isn't going to sign for less money to stay here. At this point in time....is the downgrade from Albert to Stephenson that large of a dropoff? If getting Schwartz to stay means that Albert has to go.....then that's the direction I'm headed.

Can't say bust yet. A 810 radio guy, T.J. Carpenter, said before the season, he's a bust if he hasn't taken over at LT by mid season. If he stays a RT and becomes good there, it's not a great thing but not a bust. But, I do agree, if he can't take the LT spot it's disappointing.
